Sportsman Warehouse Online Job Application

First off, go to the homepage for Sportsman Warehouse to start the online job application process. If you aren’t familiar with the company, browse the site for a bit. At the top of the page just to the right of the center is the employment tab, which you should click when you are done browsing.

The page that loads will be a map. The states that have A Sportsman Warehouse will be green, and have stars in them that indicate a location of a store. You can either use this feature to find the store you wish to apply for, or use the “Apply Now!” button in the upper right hand corner.

The Sportsman’s warehouse Employment will appear. Click “I Agree” to continue. (Note, if you don’t agree with the employment agreement, you may click “I disagree”, but you will not be considered for employment.)

On the page that loads, click the store location tab. You will be able to scroll down and pick the store you want to be employed at. Under position desired, if you select “any”, you will greatly increase your chances of being hired. On the days available for work, make sure the “open” box is checked. This will also increase your chance of being hired. Answer the background questions honestly, and click “next” to proceed to the next page.

The next page of the Sportmans Warehouse application page that loads will ask you for your contact information. When you input your information, make sure you capitalize the letters of your first and last name. If you have both a mailing address and a street address, use the street address. After you have inputted your information, click the “next” button.

The next page will ask for your education level, and your special skills. Select the proper education level, and in the skills box, don’t sell yourself short. Being smart and good with people is also a skill that doesn’t get listed on many apps, and may grab their attention. When you are finished, click the next button.

You should be at the employment history page. Fill in the information, and when you get to the job description box, try to write at least 5 lines. When you are finished, click the “next” box. You will come to a duplicate of the previous page. Fill in the information on your second most recent employer, and click the “next” button.

You are now at the final page. This page is asking for two references, which should be two people who know that you are using them for references. If they are office type people who can take calls at work, type in their work numbers instead of their home phone numbers. When you are done click the “apply now” button, and you are finished. You should always make a follow up call the next day, and try to set up an interview after you have completed the online job application.
