Red Robin Online Job Application Tips and Hints

If you're interested in becoming a part of the Red Robin Gourmet Burgers team of nearly 36,000 employees throughout the U.S. and Canada, your first step begins with the fast food restaurant job application. Far too often people make the mistake of not taking the time to properly, and thoroughly, complete job applications and end up being passed over even if they were more than qualified for the position.

The Red Robin empire was founded with four core values in mind, honor, integrity, continually seeking knowledge, and having fun. These values are the foundation for how the company treats not only its customers, but team members as well, making it a unique, rewarding place to work.

Read on for some great tips and hints to remember when completing the Red Robin online job application so that you can be on your way to a new career with one of the most popular restaurants in North America.

First, read through the entire two page Red Robin online job application before beginning and note that all of your answers should be neatly printed except for your signed name at the bottom of the second page. The Personal Information section is where you'll list your name, address, contact number and social security number. Be sure this information is accurate and easy to read. Next you'll list the position you're applying for, your expected salary, when you can start, and whether or not you've ever worked for Red Robin before.

Under Employment History list your jobs for the last three years including information like start and quit dates, salary, and the duties performed. In the Availability section list the total number of hours you're able to work each week and then each start and end time for every day of the week in the appropriate boxes and columns.

There are also a few lines to list if you have any time or scheduling-related conflicts so be sure to indicate them here, otherwise, the times you have listed above will be taken into consideration if you're hired when it comes time to creating your work schedule.

The online job application's second page will contain sections on education, qualifications, and references as well as a box to check indicating how you heard about the position. List your high school and colleges, if any, and in the Qualifications section you'll be asked to summarize your skills that are related to the position you're applying for and also any relevant training or job related experiences.

You will also be required to write why you're interested in working with Red Robin, and while each area consists of only two lines, feel free to use a sheet of blank paper to turn in with the application.

Next is the Basic Reference section, list yours and your relationship to them or the company they work for, and their phone numbers, making sure to include all three references.

The second page of the Red Robin online job application also includes a list of five terms that employees are subject to such as allowing the company permission to investigate references listed and the agreement that employment is voluntary and may be terminated by either Red Robin or the employee at any time. After reading these terms thoroughly, sign neatly on the line and add today's date.

And finally, read completely through your application several times, even having a friend look over it if possible, before you're ready to submit your online job application, and then hopefully hired as a Red Robin team member.
