Natural Teeth Whitening

Everyone likes to have beautiful teeth, which is why natural teeth
whitening are popular today. However, most of the ones you purchase in
retail stores have harmful chemicals that could actually cost you more
money in the long run. So if you don't want those extra trips to the
dentist, we want to share the issues and benefits of natural teeth
whitening.
Natural Teeth Whitening Ways
Fruits and Vegetables
When someone is discussing natural teeth whitening, they're explaining
how you can use home remedies to make your teeth whiter. One of the
most notable is taking advantage of fruits and vegetables. Granted you
can't use everything, but things like lemons and strawberries are
beneficial from the fruit side. Then again, you don't have to use the
lemon, just the juice and brush your teeth with it. In the matter of
strawberries, just crush them up and brush with the leftovers.
It may be hard to believe, but we've seen several people use these
methods and have success. The only problem with this type of natural
teeth whitening is the acid each fruit contains. Since it can reduce
the enamel in your teeth, you may end having to go to the dentist
anyways to repair any issues. Just keep in mind these are extreme
situations that can be controlled if you don't over do it.
If you're not into fruit and would rather try your luck with
vegetables, purchase a cucumber. Well, actually carrots and celery will
work too, but cucumbers are one of the best stain removers. When you
add this to your daily regimen and act like it's your toothbrush, it
may take enough of the stain away to look like a true natural teeth
whitening regimen.
Note: While you can notice the benefits, we still recommend brushing
your teeth afterwards to eliminate any possible damage due to the acids.
Baking Soda and Peroxide Benefits
Many times when you go to the grocery you'll find toothpaste that has
baking soda and peroxide in it. You might have even wondered if using
this yourself could be a natural teeth whitening regimen at home. To
answer your question it can, but you have to have the proper recipe in
order for it to be effective. If you don't, it could actually cause you
some issues down the road just like anything else.
For years people have been using baking soda mixed with salt to get a
natural teeth whitening formula working. It's said that adding these
two together can reduce the plaque and bacteria that builds up in your
mouth. Just make sure you don't irritate the gums in the process.
If you want to try baking soda and peroxide, you won't get the same
benefits as the ones at your local retail store. Peroxide is a tricky
thing, and even though you can gargle it like mouthwash after brushing,
it doesn't have the same sort of concentration.
Other Teeth Whitening Options
There are several other natural teeth whitening regimens out there that
include everything from utilizing enough malic acid (discoloring
remover) to simply changing your diet and keeping away from coffee and
sodas. Whatever the case may be you can find a natural teeth whitening
regimen just about anywhere. However, you want it to be safe before you
try it, instead of going through the trial and error process. This way
you don't end up back and the dentist and have to spend more money.
